Moxa
Moxa (also known as “Moxibustion”), made from the herb “Mugwort” or Herba Artemesia Vulgaris, is used to warm the acu-points to enhance efficacy of the treatment. Moxa will potentiate any treatment and can be used with or without needling of the points, but is particularly recommended when there is weakness or frailness of the body, as well as edema, phlegm, and poor circulation. -
Fire Cupping
The technique of fire cupping has been practiced in many countries and cultures from ancient Egypt, to Europe, Central America and of course, China. Modern day use of cupping is indicated for the early stage of colds and flu and is most typically indicated for tight, knotted muscle that is unresponsive to other types of treatments. -
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of hair-thin, sterile disposable needles into points on the body that have been proven effective in the treatment of specific health problems.
